Cold Fire®'s unique formulation is considered to penetrate a fire six times faster than water, giving it the capability to penetrate a heated surface more quickly than water alone.

The above picture shows a car fire that was extinguished with Cold Fire®. Within minutes after this car was extinguished, the hood of the car is touchable with the bare hand. This unique cooling quality is an added advantage for fire fighting and rescue.

Cold Fire® penetrates a heated surface and instantly cools it down, unlike water alone which converts to heated steam.

Using Cold Fire® enhances safety!

Summary of ITS-Test Results
Cold Fire® test on Copper:
The copper was heated and sprayed for 29.89 seconds.  "Cold Fire®" took 27 seconds to reach 87.378°F.  It took water 4 minutes, 30 seconds to reach 84.624°F.  It took air 11 minutes and 6 seconds to reach 95.994°F.  Our findings show that it took "Cold Fire®" the least amount of time.
Cold Fire® test on Sheet Metal:
The sheet metal was heated and sprayed for 15.69 seconds.  "Cold Fire" took 14 seconds to reach 84.522°F.   It took water 4 minutes, 50 seconds to reach 84.538°F.   It took air 9 minutes and 11 seconds to reach 90.872°F.   Our findings show that it took "Cold Fire®" the least amount of time.
Cold Fire® test on graph Glass:
The glass was heated and sprayed for 23.47 seconds.  "Cold Fire" took 31 seconds to reach 84.093°F.   It took water 2 minutes, 26 seconds to reach 85.821°F.   Our findings show that it took "Cold Fire®" the least amount of time.  Note as the glass cooled after spraying with water the glass cracked.
Cold Fire® test on graph Steel:
The steel was heated and sprayed for 48.23 seconds.  "Cold Fire" took 46 seconds to reach 88.894°F.   It took water 9 minutes, 17 seconds to reach 89.251°F.   It took air 8 minutes and 24 seconds to reach 109.25°F.   Our findings show that it took "Cold Fire®" the least amount of time.  Note that after being sprayed the heat went down and came up in temperature somewhat.

Cold Fire

Threat Of Smoke, Heat, And Combination Fires:

According to the National Fire Protection Association, smoke inhalation possess one of the greatest threats of injury and death by a fire. Heat exposure comes in as a close second and can be just as threatening to one's life as fire alone. When water alone is used to extinguish extremely hot fires, superheated steam is created and results in life threatening risks to fire fighters.

Fire fighters encounter several different classes of fires when fighting fires. Most often fire fighters are confronted with a combination of Class A, B, and D fires.

  • Enhances the safety of fire fighters, victims, and those surrounding the burning structure or property

  • Cold Fire® will greatly increase your chances of safely exiting the burning building

  • Significantly less amounts of water need to be used when using Cold Fire® Results in reductions of water damage and reduction in cost.

  • The ability to extinguish a fire is enhanced if Cold Fire® is being used.

Advantages To Using Cold Fire: Cold Fire® encapsulates the hydrocarbons in smoke, reducing the density of hydrocarbon smoke; therefore, reducing the hazard of smoke inhalation and increasing visibility. Cold Fire® has the unique capability of removing significant amounts of heat from a structure or object that is on fire.

Cold Fire® begins to cool down the structure / vehicle immediately. This unique capability results in a cooler flow of air, which reduces the risk of heat exposure, exhaustion, and superheated steam inhalation.

Cold Fire's® rapid removal of heat and its rapid cooling effect have been successfully tested on structure, automobile, tire and fuel fires. It works so extraordinarily well, that after a car fire has been extinguished, within minutes one can touch the car with their bare hands.

Cold Fire® has the capabilities to rapidly extinguish Class A, B, and D fires, as well as combinations of all three. The product's ability to extinguish a fire significantly faster than water alone, encapsulate the fuel source, prevent re-ignition, remove smoke and heat, begin rapid cooling, provides us with the following advantages:

  • Metal Fires:
Cold Fire® has the unique capability of extinguishing many different types of metal fires. With a 6%-9% concentration to water, Cold Fire® effectively extinguishes magnesium, aluminum, titanium, sodium, and white phosphorous.

  • Fuel And Oil Fires:
Cold Fire® effectively extinguishes non-polar hydrocarbon fuels, such as JP-4, diesel, and crude oil, at high boiling range without re-ignition. Cold Fire® also works effectively on oil well fires.

  • Fire Break:
Cold Fire®, when used at a 1% to 3% concentration with water, has been proven to provide an effective fire break in structure, object and wildland applications.

COLD FIRE® RAPID COOLDOWN SPRAY

This product was designed as a safety tool for trade applications. It is used to cool down hot surfaces rapidly. It is an excellent tool for plumbers, welders, roofers, mechanics . all those who work with hot surfaces and open flame. Several members of the motorized racing industry use this handy tool to cool down hot surfaces such as tires and brakes when cars come into the pit area. Available in 12 oz. air powered spray can, this product is light weight and easy to handle. Sprays in any direction, even upside down!

FIRE BLOCK FIRE RETARDANT

Developed from the extraorindary life saving and fire fighting Cold Fire, Fire Suppressing Agent, the FIRE BLOCK Fire Retardant is a revolutionary product which retards fires by stopping dangerous flames from spreading.
This unique product offers extraordinary fire retarding capability of any Class A surface with no flame spread and also inhibits hydrocarbon smoke development.

FIRE BLOCK works to actually form a thermal insulation barrier to prevent flames from spreading. This unique thermal insulation barrier factor is attributed to the unique cooling characteristic of the product.

Application:
Spray on or soak any Class A type surface (i.e. wood, cotton, paper, furnishings, etc.). Allow product to completely penetrate surface/material and let dry completely.
Fire Block may also be mixed in equal parts with latex paint to fireproof painted surfaces.

  • ASTM-E84 tested
  • Available in 5 and 55 gallon drums
  • Also available in 32 oz. pump bottles

Peat Zorb Zorbit Technologies
Peat Sorb
                                     PEAT SORB™

PEAT SORB™ is "THE SYSTEM For Controlling Hydrocarbons". Because of its dry cellular structure PEAT SORB™ has a wicking or sponging action that allows it to completely soak up hydrocarbons where water was once stored. The oil and other hydrocarbon is enclosed within the cells of the PEAT SORB™and will not leach out. PEAT SORB™ will save you time and money. PEAT SORB™ will pick up a full range of petroleum products from crude oil to gasoline, and it has been used to absorb resins, PCB's, coal tars, fatty acids, and hydrocarbon based inks. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, non-leaching, non-abrasive, lightweight and extremely economical. Contact us for additional information and pricing.
