When Seconds Count, Count On Cold Fire...

Cold Fire Saves Lives at Racetracks
Cold Fire continues to save lives at racetracks. Cold Fire helped save the life of Andy Hillenburg on April 3rd, 2000 at Texas Motor Speedway when his Number 2 Luxaire J&J hit the berm and a brake rotor punctured the fuel cell, which started a fire.

Cold Fire and its use within the Motorized racing industry has been growing rapidly. More and more tracks are using Cold Fire due to its extraordinary fire fighting capability, unique cooling effect, and because it is non-toxic and non-corrosive. Cold Fire provides enhanced safety to the driver.

Firefreeze Worldwide, Inc. is proud to supply famous tracks such as Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and Watkins Glen with Cold Fire.

Firefreeze Worldwide, Inc. would like to thank all NHRA, NASCAR, IRL, DIRT, and IMSA tracks, which use Cold Fire for their continued support.

 Cold Fire Super Systems

These systems are unique as they have been designed and extensively tested to be user friendly. The Cold Fire Fire Suppression System is the first of its kind as it allows the owner of the system the ability to periodically test the system as well as refill and recharge the system when needed. This unique design virtually eliminates the question of whether or not the system will work when you need it to. These systems are available in manual or automatic and in 5 and 10 pound sizes. Applications for these systems include: race cars, street rods, motor homes and recreational vehicles, heavy equipment, marine vehicles and engine rooms, fuel storage areas, military and armored vehicles, trailers, and mining equipment just to name a few.

Rapid Cooling Test Data
"New test data completed which supports Cold Fire's extraordinary cooling effect on various materials heated to 500°F."  Firefreeze Worldwide, Inc. continues to conduct testing on Cold Fire's ability to successfully extinguish aircraft fires in the hopes of someday achieving FAA approval.

Unlike foam, Cold FireŽ has the capability of fighting three dimensional fires. Its rapid cooling effect and ability to successfully extinguish Class B and Class D fires, makes Cold Fire a promising new and safe alternative for this industry. Cold FireŽ has also been recognized by the US Environmental Protection Agency SNAP Program as a replacement for Halon 1211.
Cold Fire's unique cooling effect is extremely effective and important to aircraft fires as it can be used to puncture and cool down the fuselage, providing rapid extinguishments and enhanced safety to victim trapped inside.

R&D Update
Firefreeze Worldwide Inc. hopes to complete UL testing of its 1.5 gallon and 2.5 gallon extinguishing units in the near future.  New automatic and manual fire suppression systems will soon be completed. These units will be refillable and rechargeable.

Class D Fires: Firefreeze Worldwide, Inc. completed its preliminary testing with ULC on Class D fires. Official testing with ULC to be conducted in the near future. Testing continues to be conducted within the metal manufacturing industry regarding Cold Fire's unique capability to extinguish Class D fires.

These systems offer rapid extinguishing capability, rapid cooling and are safe to the driver or operator due to their design and the use of Cold Fire. Cold Fire can be sprayed directly onto a driver or operator for enhanced safety and fire protection

OIL REFINERY TESTING FACILITY
Cold Fire continues its testing and use within the oil refinery industry. A test wasconducted at an oil and gas-loading depot. Cold Fire was used to extinguish 3,000 gallons of a diesel/gasoline mixture and one 55-gallon drum of Heptane. Pre-burn was 5 minutes. Cold Fire extinguished this fire with a 3% Cold Fire solution, a 1˝ inch hose with 120 psi on the nozzle. Extinguishment and cool-down of depot was completed in just 1 minute 45 seconds! Actual Cold Fire concentrate used for extinguishment was less than 15 gallons
Motor Max  is a revolutionary cooling system additive that works to disperse heat across your engine more effectively, allowing fuel to be burned more efficiently. Cold Fire works to eliminate overheating, reduce water and oil temperatures, increase alternator and air conditioner output, enhance engine performance, and prolong engine life.

The Motor MAX Advantage

Faster Engine Warm-Up: In a system that uses a thermostat or other means of controlling water flow until a certain water temperature is obtained, Motor Max will absorb the heat of the engine parts, transferring heat evenly and throughout the engine. When Motor Max is added to water it acts like a heat sink. The water temperature will rise faster, reducing the time for warm up. The heat is evenly transferred to all of the engine parts creating a more even warm up, reducing cold start-up wear and tear. Additionally, this translates into a big fuel savings, allowing equipment to be put into service sooner with faster warm-up.

Reduces Water Temperature: Once the thermostat opens up, Motor Max will transfer all of the heat it has absorbed into the radiator or cooling tower. Its ability to transfer this heat will now make the radiator work more efficiently to remove heat from the Motor Max-water mixture. Results vary depending on the size and volume of your entire water system. We have found for example, in a street driven vehicle containing a ratio of 1 quart Motor Max to 16 quarts water, that the mixture can reduce your water temperature from 220 to 190 degrees. In a more stressed application such as a racecar or piece of heavy equipment that runs at full throttle for an extended period, Motor Max should be mixed at a ratio of 1 quart Motor Max to 10 quarts water. Tests conducted with NASCAR Busch Grand National racecars at this ratio found temperatures to drop from 235 to 200 degrees.

Reduces Internal Engine Parts Temperature: Acting like a heat sink, Motor Max has the ability to remove heat from internal engine parts. Reducing the operating temperature of the internal parts of your engine has a major impact on the wear and tear of engine components. In engines, where high rpms are required, such as racecars, this becomes critical to the life span of components such as valve springs, wrist pins, cylinder walls and pistons. Increasing the life span of these components reduces costs when rebuilding and helps to minimize failures.

Reduces Oil Temperature: Motor Max by reducing the temperature of the internal parts will also help to reduce oil temperatures. In race conditions, Motor Max will help to reduce temperatures by up to 30 degrees. Reduced oil temperatures means less chance of oil breakdown and in turn decreases the chance of damage caused by poor lubrication.

Reduces Hot Spots in Engines: All engines have some variance in water temperature from front to back or side to side. Motor Max, with its ability to absorb heat and transfer it evenly, actually reduces the potential of hot spots and virtually eliminates steam pockets. Motor Max has shown to reduce the variance of temperature in hot spots by up to 40 degrees. The ability to reduce hot spots is vital in the search for horsepower. Controlling the hot spots now suggests that the window can be stretched just a bit further when seeking the last ounce of horsepower from performance engines.

Passenger Compartment and Engine Bay Temperature Reduction: Now that your engine and many of its components are running cooler, the reduced temperature translates to cooler engine bay and passenger compartment temperatures. This is vital in a racing application where cockpit temperatures can be as high as 150 degrees.

Reduces Engine Temperature Rise During Pit Stops and in Traffic Jams: Motor Max will also keep your water temperature lower in conditions where there is little or no airflow. With its ability to pull more heat out of the motor and into the radiator, Motor Max helps keep your engine cooler while idling.

Faster Cool Downs Between Rounds: Vital to all types of racing, Motor Max will allow your engine to cool faster between rounds.

Easy to Clean-Up and Environmentally Friendly: Motor Max is a plant-based product that is non-toxic and biodegradable. Motor Max is non-petroleum based and when accidentally spilled, it is very easy to clean-up. For example, if accidentally spilled Motor Max works to actually breakdown and clean hydrocarbons on the surface. Motor Max is then easily cleaned-up with any dry absorbent product and has no harmful effect to any surface. Motor Max actually evaporates faster and cleans up easier than just plain water. For racers and race track promoters, this is a big advantage allowing for faster clean-up and enhanced track safety. Motor Max can be used as a cleaner in garage area and racetrack applications to clean up grease and/or a fuel spill.
